We are less than a week from Halloween and time for a seasonal card! I made this particular card at a meeting held by my Stampin’ UP! Mum and it was designed by one of my Stampin’ Sister’s Tricia. That is what is so fabulous about being a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator – we meet and share in craft that we love.
The card showcases the lovely products in the Toil and Trouble Suite. The stamp set we used is Cauldron Bubble and it has a coordinating die set called Cauldron Framelit Dies, (buy as a bundle and save 10%) which we used to cut the little kitty kat from the Black Foil Sheets – all available in the 2018 Holiday Catalog (contact me if you would like a copy!)
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 4 Granny Apple Green Card
Layer 2: 5 1/2 x 2 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ run thru the Big Shot with the Corrugated Embossing Folder
Ink Colors: Memento Tuxedo Black and Gray Granite
All of the card used was from the Toil and Trouble Cardstock pack ~ so you get all the colors in one go!
The Witch’s broom stamp along with Gray Granite ink was used to produce the background on the Granny Apple Green layer before adding the embossed strip of Gorgeous Grape. The witch is fussy cut from one of the sheets in the Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper but you could use the stamp in the stamp set then cut with the die before doing a little coloring with either watercolor pencils or Stampin’ Blends.
A 2 1/4 ” Circle punch was used to cut the Pumpkin Pie circle behind the witch which was attached with a 3 – 4 Stampin Dimensionals as was the little kitty cat. A bow tied with Basic Black Baker’s Twine attached with a glue dot and we were done.
