The weather in North Texas has become very cold it was 25F (-4C) last night – even though we have not had any snow, my card today is just perfect for the conditions using the beautiful Snow is Glistening Stamp Set.
This set is only available until November 30th 2018 – so if you want to recreate the cards I am sharing this month you will need to get your order in fast (see below for the link to my on-line store)
Card base: 11 x 4 1/4 Blackberry Bliss Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Rich Razzleberry Card
Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry
I stamped the tree using Blackberry Bliss ink then trimmed the card to follow the outline of the tree using my Stampin’ Trimmer. On the Whisper White layer I stamped the greeting with full strength Rich Razzleberry then stamped a couple of times more without re-inking the stamp. There are a couple of ‘falling snow’ stamps in this set I used one of them with Rich Razzleberry ink to stamp randomly over the Whisper White layer without reinking the stamp, giving me more texture with the change in shade.
Speaking of adding texture ~ a strip of 1/4 Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon (attached with 2 – 3 mini glue dots)and a scattering of Frosted and Clear Expoxy Droplets and I am done!
