Lovely as a Tree meets Dashing Deer

I cannot let this Christmas season go by without an appearance of the perennial favorite Lovely as a Tree Stamp set.  I have been associated with Stampin’ UP! since 2006 and this stamp set was available back then.  I heard a rumour that it was either designed or the brain child of Shelli Gardner’s sister, Vonna, both of whom co-founded the company back in 1988 ( we have spent the last year celebrating the 30 year anniversary) and that because of this it will never retire – who knows the truth of it but it is a lovely story 🙂

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Whisper White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

3 x 5 Coastal Cabana for stamping and cutting the Deer using the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and Detailed Deer Thinlet Dies.

Ink Colors: Coastal Cabana and  Crumb Cake

A very quick card to make but with great impact, a little adhesive from the Fine Tip Glue and a peppering of Dazzling Diamonds on the antlers and the trees in the background.

A wee peak inside the card
