Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop ~ Masculine

Welcome to the   Ink & Share Scrapbook blog hop,  I took a few months off while I helped America file their income taxes but I am delighted to be taking part  again.  We are  group of international Stampin UP! demonstrators sharing our ideas and creativity with you.

You will have either arrived from  Rebecca Jo’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME.  This month’s theme is Masculine   ~  probably one of the subjects I struggle with  the most !

Once again I have chosen to use a 12 x 12 page – mainly because Stampin’ UP! has 12 x 12 card stock in all its colors which gives me a fantastic choice but also because they have the 12 x 12 Page Protectors and Albums.

I chose to use the One Wild Ride stamp set paired up with the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper with the coordinating Classic Garage Metal Elements ~ the coordinated products from Stampin’ UP! make it so easy for me to create my page.

My husband used to own and ride a motorcycle before we moved to the US and my plan is to find a photograph of him in all his gear to put in the center panel.  The little ‘rosette’  element is intended for a little journaling probably his name and the date & location of the photo.

My base is Smoky Slate 12 x 12 card, each of the pieces are 6 x 6 and the center panel is 6 x 6 Whisper White Card.  The ink in also Smoky Slate then Real Red for the greeting which I carefully trimmed with my Paper Snips.

Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s page – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little box at the end of this post.
