Narrow Notecards with Tropical Escape DSP

A few days ago I shared a gift card holder featuring the Tropical Escape DSP, to make them I had to trim down the 6 x 6 sheets and was left with some strips that were just begging to be used!  I was also ready to make my ‘thank yous’ for my lovely customers who had shopped for their Stampin’ Up supplies with me during March ~ so paired up my little strips with the super cute Narrow Notecards & Envelopes

Card base:  Whisper White Narrow Notecards (see link below) These cards are quick and easy to use, you get 20 cards plus 20 envelopes in a pack for just $8 – great deal!

Layer 1: 4 3/8 x  1 1/8 Blushing Bride Card

Layer 2:  4 1/4 x 1 Tropical Escape DSP

Ink Colors: Granny Apple Green.

I used stamps from 2 sets for this card, the ‘dotty’ effect is from Artisan Textures and the greetin is from Butterfly Gala.

The flower is cut from Vellum Cardstock with the Four Petal Flower Punch I pinched each of the petals between my fingers to form a center vein to give it a little ‘life’ , then added a 4″ length of Silver Mini Sequin Trim, both attached with a Mini Glue Dot then topped out with a Clear Faceted Gem.
