I have a card buffet every month, one of my ladies asked if we could do a Christmas card with a ‘little house’ So I scanned the catalog and found the Rustic Retreat Stamp set had the cutest little log cabin ~ it turned out to be the most popular card in the November card buffet!

This stamp set was designed by SU demonstrator Mary Polcin who was given the honor when she achieved a Million Dollars in sales! It has some great images and greetings for Christmas, Birthday, Thinking of You and while I have used the Christmas themed ones, there are a few others that would work just great for a masculine card!….. watch this space for when I work out a design for one of those!

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Mossy Meadow Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card
• Layer 2: 4 x 2 1/2 Soft Seafoam Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder
• Layer 3: Mossy Meadow Card and Very Vanilla Card cut with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies
• Ink Color: Early Expresso and Mossy Meadow

All the layers are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, and the die cut pieces are popped up on some Stampin’ Dimensionals. I chose to use the red ribbon from the All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack with the pretty gold metallic edging along with some of the cute Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the berries on my little sprig of Juniper.
