Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop, we are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Kim’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month our theme is ‘Case The Catty’ which means we choose something from the Stampin UP! 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog and Copy And Share Everything
I chose to use one of the designs featured in the Pansy Petals Suite (pg 28). Although the original uses stamped and die cut images I decided to let the Pansy Petals Designer Paper do all the hard work for me – and die cut the pansies and leaves from the paper itself!
Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper
Layer 2: 4 x 2 3/4 Basic White Card
Layer 3: 4 x 2 3/4 Basic White Card ~ cut with Scalloped Contours Dies
Ink Color : Evening Evergreen and Pale Papaya
I used my Blending Brush with a little Pale Papaya ink to put a little sunshiny glow on the scalloped layer before attaching the pansies and leaves, then finished off with one of the cute Bumblebee Trinkets.
It was quite fun to look thru the catalog to find something to ‘CASE’ and I have to say I saw some things that I had not noticed before and I thought I had given all the pages a thoroughly good look. So I recommend you try looking and see if there are any hidden gems you might have missed!
Thank you for stopping by – I hope you like today’s project – please let me know in a comment ~ by using that little link at the bottom of this post.
