Welcome to my Corner of the World
Today’s color combination was inspired by an RV (recreational vehicle) that pulled along side at some traffic lights, they looked so good together, Crumb Cake, Basic Grey and Merry Merlot, so it came together for this Thank You card.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Merry Merlot Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Picture This Dies
- Ink Color: Basic Grey
I used my Stamparatus along with the Stacked Stone Background Stamp to stamp directly onto the Crumb Cake Card Base, then attached the piece of Merry Merlot card with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The greeting is from my newest, bestest favorite Go To Greeting Stamp Set, stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla card and trimmed with Paper Snips to fit one of the little panels I cut out from the Merry Merlot panel.
The brushed effect of the Gold and Gold Rose Metallic Specialty Paper gives some more texture especially when cut with the Bough Punch, then a few Champagne Rhinestones to finish off.
