It should not come as any surprise to you, as I have shared many times, that I am not good with masculine themed cards, flowers and shiny stuff really does not work for them and that is where my strength lies! So when I saw the On the Ocean Stamp Set in the 2023 Annual Catalog I knew I was onto a winner!
- Base Card: 81/2 x 5 1/2 Crumb Cake Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/2 x 1 Strip of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper
- Layer 2: 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 Misty Moonlight Card
- Layer 3: 4 1/4 x 3 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Misty Moonlight and Crumb Cake
I started by randomly stamping those seagulls all over the card base then added the strip of decorative paper with a Liquid Adhesive. For the center panel I stamped the ‘sea’ first then added the ship and filled in the empty space with those seagulls again.
The greeting banner is hand cut with paper snips and attached with a couple of Mini Dimensionals. I think it works great for a fella , don’t you?
And what about that ‘swirly sea’ stamp – I just love that – so much so that I used it on another ultra-feminine card which you can check out here
