Ink . Stamp . Share Blog Hop Showcase ~ February

Welcome to my corner of the World

Once again  I am thrilled to be taking part  in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop.  We are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!

You will have either arrived from Tammy’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . We do not have a theme, but each of the talented artisans showcase what they are working on at this time each month. There will be techniques, fancy folds, 3D, new products and ideas – a veritable treasure chest for you to draw on every month.

I have been using some of my Sale-a-bration freebies , one of which is the Cradled in Love Stamp Set that has the cutest cradle as well as some perfect greetings to use along with it.

  • Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 OR 11 x 5 1/4 Bubble Bath, Soft Seafoam or Balmy Blue Card
  • Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run thru Cut & Emboss Machine with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder
  • Layer 2: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 Bubble Bath, Balmy Blue OR Soft Sea Foam Card
  • Ink Color:Versamark with White Embossing Powder, Bubble Bath, Balmy Blue OR Soft Seafoam

The center panels are cut using the 2nd to largest of the Perennial Postage Dies, then I built up the scene starting with the little rug, then the cradle then the little ‘hooky thing’ and finally the mobile, then used the heat tool to melt the powder into the Versamark ink. It was very satisfying to see the scene appear. I simply attached the layer to the card using some Stampin Dimensionals.

Those small greetings work perfectly with the Best Label Punch and I added a scattering of white embellishments from the Classic Matte Dots. I just love how they turned out ~ what do you think?

I used Balmy Blue for the boy, Bubble Bath for the girl and Soft Sea Foam for the gender neutral version.

By purchasing the supplies to make this card you, too will be able to get this Cradled in Love Stamp Set for free during Sale-a-bration - you can get more info here
