Welcome to my Corner of the World
For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So happy that Easter is a little later this year than last allowing me to use some blossoms and spring time colors……….today I share, Easter Blossoms!

- Base Card: 5 1/2 x 4 Fresh Freesia Card
- Calendar Layer : 5 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
- Scraps of Petunia Pop Card
- Ink Color: Pebbled Path & Petunia Pop
All supplies used for today’s projects are from Stampin’ UP! The stamp set is Layering Leaves for the leaf and a floral stamp set and punch from my stash that is at least 12 years old, but I love it so much I could not bear to part with it.
My bow is using Petunia Pop Ribbon then a few Iridescent Pearls for a little subtle bling 🙂
As I work thru the year some of the products used might have retired, however you may have them in your stash or find a suitable alternative, either way enjoy 🙂
The calendar part is made using the Days to Remember Stamp Set ~ which is cleverly designed to cover all the months of the year. I have a video on how I used it to create my calendar. Check out how I did this

- Card Base: 11 x 4 1/4 Fresh Freesia Card ~ scored @2 3/4 & 8 1/4
- 2nd Layer : 2 pieces ~ 4 1/8 x 2 1/2 Petunia Pop run thru the Cut & Emboss Machine with Embossing Folder
- 3rd Layer: 3 3/4 x 3 Petunia Pop Card
- 4th Layer : 3 1/2 x 2 2/3 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Pebbled Path and Petunia Pop
I hope you enjoyed the calendar and card I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Don’t forget to be a subscriber on the blog by clicking the blue follow button on the top right and my You Tube Channel so that you get all the projects.
As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂 Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂
