Creating a Calendar Card with Days to Remember – Video Tutorial

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 5 or 6 years I have created a flip over calendar using various Stampin’ UP! products, however the calendar part always defeated me in trimming and lining everything up – so I would buy the calendar parts. This year Stampin’ UP! introduced the Days to Remember Stamp Set which makes the whole process of stamping them ‘oh so very easy’ . Today I share a video on how I use this stamp set to create a calendar card and give you a sneak peak of my flip over calendar for 2022.

  • Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Balmy Blue Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
  • Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ run thru Cut and Emboss Machine with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder
  • Layer 2: 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 Misty Moonlight Card
  • Layer 3: 3 x 2 1/2 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Basic Gray and Balmy Blue

My decorative flowers are made using the Flowers and Leaves Punch and the Strawberry Builder Punch with a Basic Pearl in the center, these are attached with a Mini Glue Dot. The bow is made from 1/4 White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon colored with the Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. I have videos on tying ribbon bows and coloring ribbon with blends – you can find the links if you scroll down a little further 🙂

Now kick back and enjoy the video:
