Welcome to my Corner of the World
Understandably, because it is summer there are a lot of wedding anniversaries in my circle of friends and family. Today I am sharing a card I made for a friend who, like me, took time to find the right fella and married a little later in life.
- Base Card: 8 1/4 x 5 3/4 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 8 1/8
- Ink Color: Versamark with Silver Embossing Powder
Using letter size card ~ cut your base to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4
I have to say that white-on-white is not my usual style as I do like some colour, however I really do like the finished effect.
Although the picture does not do it justice, the lacy piece on the side as well as the leafy stem have been painted with a pearlized ink and the greeting is silver embossed. I will be sharing this easy technique in a video in the near future 🙂
I hope you enjoyed the card I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Don’t forget to be a subscriber on the blog by clicking the blue follow button on the top right and my You Tube Channel so that you get all the projects.
As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂
Supplies:
- Card, Leafy Die, Ink, Embossing Powder, Ribbon & Embellishments ~ Stampin UP!
- Lacey Edge Die ~ Crafter’s Companion Wild @ Heart Delicate Lace
- Pearly Ink ~ Dylusions White Linen Shimmer Spray
Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂
