This is one of the techniques I shared with my monthly class at the end of March, although most the products I used have now retired 😦 – the technique will work for any papers, stamps and dies that you have in your stash!
Continue readingI like to introduce new colors to you and to pair them with colors you might already have in your stash. Today our new color is Pecan Pie, part of the refreshed Neutrals family and I have paired it with Petal Pink and a little dash of Old Olive for the leaves.
You all know that I love flowers and am always drawn to new stamp sets that feature them, especially if they have greetings as well! The Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set fits that bill perfectly and it particularly speaks to me as one of our Yorkie’s was called Daisy and we were especially close.

The Timeless Arrangements Stamp set with coordinating dies is already a favorite and I have just used it once! The video gives you some hints and tips on using the dies to create a very feminine card.

Continue readingHip, Hip Hooray ~ Misty Moonlight has returned to the Stampin UP family as a core color!!! This is such a lovely, sophisticated blue and works brilliantly with Smoky Slate. The Nature’s Prints Stamp Set carried over into the new catalog, so I have mixed a new product in with one already in my stash. I think this color combo would work for a male or female card!
