Junk Journal Journey ~ Library Pocket Embellishment

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I started my green foliaged themed junk journal around this time last year, it has been slow going as I have had one or two things going on 🙂 but I have been dipping into my JJJ occasionally and switching my camera on so I can share my ideas as I go along. Today’s video shares how I make a library pocket with a journaling tag.

  • Base Pocket: 8 x 4 1/8 Double sided decorative paper ~ score @ 1/2 on both long sides and 3 1/2 on short side.
  • Tag: 5 3/4 x 3 Card
  • Ink Color: Distressed Oxide – Frayed Burlap

For this embellishment I worked out the size of the pocket based on the size of the tag, but you can do it the other way around if you have a pocket you want to use.

Check out the video to see how everything goes together:

I think I am getting pretty close to summoning up the courage to create the cover and to start attaching my signatures into it. Keep your eye out for that video!

I hope you enjoyed the embellishment and video I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Supplies:
