I love to teach and to share and I really love when one of my lovely ladies shares one of her creations with me. The one I am sharing in this, my 500th blog post, was from a class I did back in October and I share it with the full agreement of Kim, who created it.

Lip Balm Holder Tutorial ~ Stampin’ Up! Products
We are coming up to the holiday season and gift exchanges. I like to have a few small, decorated items on hand so I can hand out to folks to show how I appreciate them ~ it could be my hairdresser, the lady who does my nails, the mail lady …. oh just about everyone.
Today I am sharing a Lip Balm holder with a video to show some of the details, if you have folks in your lives, teachers, co-workers, crossing guard, maybe you would consider making something for them to show your appreciation.
Irresistibly Floral Card ~ Stampin’ Up! Products
I love heat embossing ~ it just has to be one of my most favorite techniques, but when you add the ‘resist’ part of the technique it really gives a punch to the finished project. Sometimes, though it is nice not to have to do the heat embossing and just go onto the ‘resist’…. and the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Paper a perfect solution! I wanted to showcase this gorgeous paper in a recent class and here is the card we all made…………………
York Pattie Treat Holders – using Stampin’ Up! products
September 17th was the date for Cindy’s Corner’s 2nd Stampin; Getaway ~ a whole day of paper crafting fun, where we made card sets, 3D gift items and a cute home decor framed art piece. I will share these projects in coming posts but I wanted to share one of the pillow gifts that each attendee received.
Thank you – note pads
I have shared so many times how grateful I am to my customers and those in my team, I make a special point of trying to surprise and delight them with a card or a little 3D gift. Back in May I decided a practical gift was in order so each received one of these tiny note pads on a little ring.

Decorated Votive Candle with matching gift bag with video!
I have a small but delightful team of ladies who are part of the Stampin’ Up! family with me. I wanted to make them a small thank you gift for Christmas using products from Stampin’ Up.
I am a little late in posting this and the video as Christmas is now 3 weeks behind us – but the idea can be used for any occasion – in fact I think they would make very nice shower favors – they can be made in the party’s color scheme.
EOS Hand lotion meets Fry Box!!!!!
I love to make 3D items, especially ones to put little gifts into. I was in one of the large local stores a couple of months ago and came across the handbag/purse size EOS Hand lotions. It is such a lovely shape and perfect for a gift.
I was not quite sure what I would do with it but I knew that I wanted to play with card and adhesive until something came about! Continue reading
Thanksgiving Dinner Favors
I love to make 3D items and I love chocolate – so to combine the two is an extra special treat. I made a dozen of these little beauties for Thanksgiving lunch last week and each contained about 5 – 6 chocolates ranging from Ghiridelli Squares to Hershey’s Kisses.
