The challenge is to create a card with a hidden message, I took that to mean there would not be a greeting on the outside but a hidden one on the inside somewhere! To add to the challenge I decided to make a masculine card and as it turner out it had a vintage sort of feel to it as well. Continue readingThis is the 5th technique I have shared for using your embossing folders – and this time we are incorporating heat embossing as well. As I shared in the video – heat embossing is probably my favorite technique, it is certainly the one that amazes folks who are new to paper crafting. I have chosen a general greeting for the card but it would make a really good birthday, thank you or other occasion such as Mother’s Day. It would make a very pretty wedding or anniversary card, especially if you use the wedding colors. 🙂

We don’t have a specific theme ” anything goes” it is all about the fold!! So today I am offering a “tunnel card”, that is what I am calling it anyway ~ I saw one of those fb shorts that lasted for about 30 secs which did not give any measurements but just the assembly – so in my video I work thru the steps, make a few errors and share how I work thru them!!!

As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month and included a video to show how I went about making the card.

As I only have one layer to work with it needs to really standout and have a WOW factor. I guess it kinda lends itself to something floral but I gonna try and not do that……….. wish me luck!!! As I explain in my video, this idea was from my husband !!! Continue readingIf you are like me and not so good at coloring – today’s technique is a great one for you! Once again I am using some simple supplies, Stamps, Ink & Paper to create the card – so you should be able to use the idea with supplies from your own stash. I have used pinks, lavenders and greens for mine and used a birthday greeting but this would make a great thank you card in any colors you have.
