What do I mean by this?, I hear you ask! To keep up with changing trends and to have new and fresh products to share Stampin up introduced the idea of launching new goodies each quarter. I have been sharing them over the last year and made some really lovely cards with them.

A Little Vintage Going On!

Welcome to my Corner of the World

I do love the vintage technique (shabby chic) for my cards – it takes a little time but is satisfying to do and the final finish is so worth the effort. When I saw the Sale-a-bration exclusive free stamp set, Detailed Dogwood, I just knew it would be perfect for this technique, especially as it has a fine collection of eclectic images along with a beautiful dogwood spray. It also gave me a chance to use a few techniques as well.

How to Use Up Those Scraps!!

We get scraps…… all the time, paper crafters, quilters etc get scraps left over. If it plain card I have no problem putting it in the rubbish bin, but decorative paper, I just can’t do it! So today I used a few of my scraps from a recent project to pull together a very quick and simple ‘any occasion’ card featuring one of the free SAB decorative paper packs ~ Softly Stippled
