Continue readingA few months ago, one of the ladies who comes to my in-person classes asked about making cards using Quilt Blocks – I am always up for a challenge and love it when someone requests a technique or a fun fold. I made and shared the Log Cabin block in my You Tube live and had such fun I made two more a while later on another You Tube live. Check out the Pinwheel and Shoefly blocks below.

Continue readingAs the nights draw in I am starting to think about autumn leaves, indeed the leaves on our peach tree have started to turn color and to fall. The Inked and Tiled Stamp Set has fast become a favorite of mine, I have used it on many of the cards I have shared in the last few months, it has a beautiful leaf stamp which I have used as the centerpiece of my card.

I like techniques – using stamps and ink in different ways shows the flexibility of what on the surface appears to be simple things, today I have taken Blending Brushes and Stampin Spritzers to create a great background and show the magic of water – check out the video to see what I mean! 🙂
Continue readingOnce again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
