Earlier this year I created this One Sheet Wonder set of cards for the ladies who took part in my decorative paper and embellishment share. Although both of these papers have now retired the principles for making the cards remain the same. The Timeless Arrangements Stamp set with coordinating dies is already a favorite and I have just used it once! The video gives you some hints and tips on using the dies to create a very feminine card.

Continue readingHip, Hip Hooray ~ Misty Moonlight has returned to the Stampin UP family as a core color!!! This is such a lovely, sophisticated blue and works brilliantly with Smoky Slate. The Nature’s Prints Stamp Set carried over into the new catalog, so I have mixed a new product in with one already in my stash. I think this color combo would work for a male or female card!
Continue readingI don’t usually make big cards, partly because of the extra postage we have to pay here in the US. So I have always stuck to making them with 1/2 sheet of 11 x 8 1/2 card with the finished card size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. Then I received a card from a friend – it was bigger than 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 but still had the regular first class stamp. So I did a little research and found that I could send a max size of 7 x 5 for the same first class stamp – so today’s card is just that size!!
Continue readingLater today I shall be receiving my order from the new 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalog – normally I would have gotten my hands on the new products weeks ago but as I was away on an extended holiday I was not able to place my order until I was back in McKinney!
In my order is the Fresh as A Daisy Suite which I am itching to get my hands on, I love daisies – (we called one of our Yorkie’s Daisy) rather than wait any longer I am going to share the Stampin’ UP! video and samples with you today – watch this space for ideas I come up with in the coming days and weeks!!!
