Continue readingToday’s card is very quick and easy using the Elegantly Said Stamp Set along with the stunning beautiful Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper, which has all the bling I need ~ copper, gold and silver foil on a black background.
I simply cut the paper with my paper trimmer, added some Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon and Matte Black Dots, a little stamping and the card is complete, sometimes less is simply more!

Continue readingSometimes we need a sympathy card, I know I have had to send out a some in the last couple of months, but it gives me a sense that at least I have done ‘something’ to acknowledge the loss a family is feeling.
It is difficult to judge what colors to use, black, or dark colors versus something a little brighter, I pondered on this and decided to go with Very Vanilla and Just Jade and use the peaceful trail of leaves from the Very Versailles Stamp Set.
Continue readingA couple of weeks ago I designed a Spring themed scrapbook page for a blog hop, I had cut lots of pieces using the Pierced Blooms Dies from the Subtles family of Stampin’ UP! colors. Well when I finished the scrapbook page I had a bunch of pieces left over – never one to waste anything, I used them to make today’s card. Also it gives me the chance to show you how scrapbooking ideas and techniques can be used in your card making.
Although I made it into a thank you card, I think it would make a very pretty birthday card if you change out the greeting.

So it will not surprise you that as I write this I am waiting on the delivery of the Pansy Petals Suite from the new 2021 -2022 Stampin’ UP! Catalog – this is simply full of flowers and I am counting the days until it arrives!

Continue readingI do love a fun fold and the quicker and easier the better! Today I have used a very simple Z fold and paired Pool Party with Rich Razzleberry, which I think is a great combination.
Today is the last day for the 2020 – 2021 Stampin UP! catalog – although all the products (with the exception of the Classic Label Punch ) I am using today are carrying over you might just have something on your wish list that will be here today but gone tomorrow!
Continue readingThis card was inspired by my Stampin’ UP! mum, Jackie Ross. It uses the Love of Leaves Stamp Set and coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies. It is a great way to use your Designer Series Paper – I just love it and have a tendency to hoard it if I am not careful! You can get 4 pieces from a piece of 6 x 6 paper or 16 from a 12 x 12 piece – so imagine having one design and being able to create a bunch of cards for your stash!
Continue readingCajun Craze is a color I seem to forget until Autumn, but it is a great color for masculine cards, especially if you pair it with Sahara Sand and Early Expresso! If you are regular reader of my blog you will know that I struggle with guy themed card but it you have the right stamp set and the right colors they are a lot easier to make. 🙂
I shall be so sorry to see the Soar Confidently Stamp Set retire but it will be available until June 30th – so you can still add it to your order!

Todays card is using the Wild Roses Background Stamp which is just perfect for my Stamparatus, along with the Floral Gallery Dies to create this 3D lettering with Foam Adhesive Sheets.
