I can’t recall how many cards I have made with this stamp set…….. ‘Bloomin’ Love’ I have made valentine cards but the more I look at it this set it will work equally as well for anniversary, birthday for your significant other, wedding or engagement congratulations, when you look closely it has flowers, a banner and 4 lovely greetings that make it so versatile.

I made this card for my youngest Step-son’s birthday last month, he is all grown up with a wife and babies of his own. Cards for the guys in our lives do not come to me naturally but with this stamp set ‘ Sky is the Limit’ it certainly made it easier to make.

Groovy Love Valentine ~ Stampin’ Up!
Today is the first of February – and a perfect kick-off to this new month is a Valentine card – I have already shared a few in the early part of January but have some more in my stash as we begin the countdown to the 14th!

I am not a great fan of January – after the glitter and shine of the holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas the house always looks so quiet and plain. So today’s card uses lovely oranges and yellows and a pop of glimmer paper.

Its my Party Cupcake and Balloons ~ from Stampin’ Up!
So far I have shared 4 cards using the ever versatile Party Wishes stamp set, this is the last one for the time being but I just wanted to used the itty bitty cupcake and balloon punches one more time before I move on to some of the other products in the new Occasions catalog from Stampin’ Up!
Bermuda Bay Birthday ~ from Stampin’ Up!
Black, White and Bermuda Bay – a lovely combination for this birthday card. Black is not a color I naturally reach for but it does give a certain elegance to most things ~ I think this would have been a very elegant card…….. until I added the stamped balloons to make it a little more whimsical!
Party Wishes ~ from Stampin’ Up!
Don’t you just love cup cakes? I thought it was the best thing ever when it became popular to have cup cakes instead of a big birthday cake and then I went to a wedding where there was cup cakes for the guests and a small cake for the bride and groom to do the ceremonial cut.
So when Stampin’ Up! came out with the Party Wishes stamp set with a itty bitty cup cake and then a punch to cut out that itty bitty cup cake I was doubly thrilled!
