I do love a fun fold card – I know I have said it many times before – but they are exactly that – fun to make. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .

Continue readingNow we are in June my thoughts are turning to cards to celebrate July 4th ~ Independance Day here in the US. I have taken a slightly different approach for today’s card using some slightly muted Red, White and Blue and using the Elegant Border Dies to create the ‘stripes’. I think this would make a great graduation card ~ simply swap out the red and blue for the school colors!

Continue readingI don’t think to use white ink at all, so when I was seeking inspiration for a color combo for my recent card buffet my eye fell on the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad which I paired up with Night of Navy and the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set – I just loved the sort of monochrome ‘smoky’ effect it gave especially with the outline stamps in the set.
