I don’t think to use white ink at all, so when I was seeking inspiration for a color combo for my recent card buffet my eye fell on the Whisper White Craft Ink Pad which I paired up with Night of Navy and the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set – I just loved the sort of monochrome ‘smoky’ effect it gave especially with the outline stamps in the set.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Night of Navy Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card
• Layer 2: 5 x 3 3/4 Night of Navy Card
• Ink Color: Whisper White and Night of Navy

My greeting is from the Celebrating You Stamp Set and I used the 1 3/4 Circle Punch to cut it out. A simple bow made from the Simply Elegant Trim just finishes everything off. With the variety of greetings in the Celebrating You Stamp Set it is simple to change out the greeting to make the card for any occasion – how about a Mother’s Day card?
