What do we mean by Casing a Card? Simply Copy And Share Everything!! It doesn’t mean exactly but gives you a chance to put your own spin on something. I chose to do this to share another Colouring Technique using Masking and Blending Brushes. Continue readingFor the last 5 – 6 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month and included a video to show how I went about making the card.
So today I share 2 versions, a July 4th for my American friends and a pretty bee for my friends in the rest of the world!
Continue readingThis week’s challenge was to feature an ‘Animal/Creature – so in other words a ‘critter’ I chose this as a chance to share another very simple coloring technique – using a Blender Pen, that along with just some stamps, ink and paper (#SIP) it is a card that your could produce from any supplies you might have in your stash. Checkout the video below to see how this has basically turned into the perfect card for a fella!!!
Continue readingWhile working thru today’s video it occurred to me that there are a number of different ways to add colour to your cards stamped images or to die cut pieces. So I am using today’s card as the first in the series where I am using alcohol markers to colour my image. So look out for some more coloring techniques over the coming weeks.
