Alcohol Markers on Handmade Cards ~ Colouring Techniques

Welcome to my Corner of the World

While working thru today’s video it occurred to me that there are a number of different ways to add colour to your cards stamped images or to die cut pieces. So I am using today’s card as the first in the series where I am using alcohol markers to colour my image. So look out for some more coloring techniques over the coming weeks.

  • Base Card: 10 x 5 Basic White Thick Card ~ scored @ 2 1/2 & 5
  • Layer 1: 4 3/4 x 2 3/8 Basic White Card ~ run thru embossing folder
  • Layer 2: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 Granny Apple Green Card
  • Layer 3: 3 1/4 x 3/1/4 Basic White Card
  • Ink Color: Tuxedo Black

To complete my flower I used Stampin’ Blends Wild Wheat, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight.

Check out the video to see how everything goes together. Apologies for the abrupt end to the video – I caught the off button with my finger as I went in for the close up!

I hope you enjoyed the card and video I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more.
