I have fallen in love with the Pretty Medallion background stamp, I have used it such a lot and will be sharing more with you over the coming weeks.
Today I have given the card a vintage/shabby chic spin with some sponging, die cutting with the Split Card Textures Dies, distressing and crinkled seam binding….. oh and there is a video to pull it all together 🙂
Continue readingHappy 4th everyone! Today’s card is inspired by a recent Stampin’ UP! event I attended remotely. It focused on the Splendid Day Suite of products that was launch just 3 short days ago on July 1st. The colors in this suite are just so soft and subtle making it a snap to create shabby chic – my special favorite being the Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon!

As I was sharing the dies I made a comment about the beautiful wreath die and how I would be making use of it in very short order. I used the goodies from the newly released Sun Prints Collection, which has a stamp set with coordinating dies, the Fern 3D embossing folder and the very pretty Sun Prints decorative paper, scroll down for more info on the supplies, which are available separately or as a whole collection – you choose!. I have also thrown in one of the new in-colors ~ Tahitian Tide which pairs very well with Night of Navy.
