Today’s card is probably the most versatile one I have ever put together! I think it would work great for the fellas in our lives, sympathy, get well, thinking of you, a ‘just because’ sort of card – just about anything – don’t you agree?
The images and greeting is from the Love of Leaves Stamp Set and I used the coordinating Stitched Leaves Dies to cut the little gold leaf accent.
Continue readingCajun Craze is a color I seem to forget until Autumn, but it is a great color for masculine cards, especially if you pair it with Sahara Sand and Early Expresso! If you are regular reader of my blog you will know that I struggle with guy themed card but it you have the right stamp set and the right colors they are a lot easier to make. 🙂
I shall be so sorry to see the Soar Confidently Stamp Set retire but it will be available until June 30th – so you can still add it to your order!
Continue readingIf you are a regular reader of my blog you will know I struggle with cards for the fellas in our lives! So when I opened the Stampin UP! Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog and saw the Soar Confidently Stamp set I knew it had to be on my wish list, it has the most perfect guy type images with an airship, hot air balloon and a biplane, along with some super images great for birthdays and father’s day.
I have used the airship on today’s card and stepped it up by heat embossing the image with gold.

Continue readingI just wanted to share this cute card I made for my great-nephew’s 10th birthday last month, I used the Darling Donkey’s Stamp Set from Sale-a-bration, sadly this set is no longer available but a great alternative would be the Zany Zebras Stamp Set.
I used the ‘tone-on-tone stampin’ technique for my background and broke out my watercolor pencils to color my cheeky lil’ donkey, he looks so cute just sitting there 🙂

I chose to use Cinnamon Cider Card with Early Expresso and a tiny pop of Just Jade 1/4 ribbon.
