I am really taken with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set ~ I love that I can create nice, big greetings for my cards, this is especially true for today’s card as I made it for my nephew so that is not ‘over the top’ as he is not into fancy!

I chose to use some decorative paper with checks and pull the checks thru the card by using one of the new embossing folders. This is a very quick and simple card to make you could use the same sketch, changing out the decorative paper and card colors to create a card for any occasion.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Gray Granite Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
• Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pacific Point Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Checks Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 3 1/8 x 2 1/8 Poppy Parade Card
• Layer 3: 3 x 2 Well Suited DSP (now retired)
• Layer 4: 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 Poppy Parade Card
• Layer 5: 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Gray Granite and Poppy Parade

The Checks Embossing Folder is a smaller folder than the regular ones so I was able to just place half of the card inside it before running thru the Cut and Emboss Machine, this layer is attached to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The DSP panel is also attached with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the greeting panel popped up on Stampin Dimensionals. A couple of Matte Black Dots and the card is finished ~ great masculine card without any ‘fancy’!!
