2025 Flip Over Desk Calendar ~ November

Welcome to my Corner of the World

For the last 4 – 5 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes.  As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month.

Over the last few weeks I have been working on the calendar for 2026 ~ I am excited to share it with you and will be including a video of how I take each calendar decorative panel and design the card!

So today I share, Beautiful Autumn Leaves

Patchwork Scraps Card

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Scraps and patchwork go together – after all that is how patchwork came into being was to use up odd scraps of fabric or clothes/household linens that were no longer serviceable. So today I am using scraps of decorative paper to create a patchwork card perfect for sending to a dear friend for just about any occasion.

Positive Thoughts ~ Patch Card #2

Welcome back to my corner of the world

A couple of weeks ago I introduced the idea of a ‘Patch Card’, where I found a piece of card laying on my workbench or by my paper trimmer, then built up my design on that piece before attaching it to a regular size card base.

Today’s card started with the piece of HIghland Heather – not surprising as those of you that have been following me recently will know,  I have used this color quite a bit for some reason!  The Very Vanilla oval is also something I had in my little bin of ‘stuff’ which has punched shapes, bows, etc that I have left over from other projects that when I tried to use them it did not work – but I could not bear to throw it away!

Once again I have reached out for the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set, I think this really appeals to me under the circumstances we found ourselves at the moment – I am sending positive thoughts to you all as well.

Lovely Lily Pad Patch Card ~ my new thing!

Welcome back to my corner of the world

This card started with a 3 x 2 3/4 piece of Old Olive card – it was a scrap of card that was sitting next to my Paper Trimmer.  I built up my decoupage lily design on this piece and then stuck it on a card base.  I have decided to call this a ‘Patch Card’

The design features 2 of the products from the 2020 Sale-a-bation catalog, the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set and the coordinating  Lily Pad Dies ~ click here for more info on Sale-a-bration. I also sent this card to two of my team who celebrate an anniversary of joining Stampin’ UP! this month. Click here to learn more about joining my team
