I don’t know about you but my ink pads see a lot of service, whether in classes, stamp camps or me designing projects or making cards for sale – they get a lot of use. So like everything we treasure, they need a little TLC from time to time. Continue reading

Lovely Laurel Vellum ~ Stampin’ Up!
I do love flowers – I grow them in my garden, in the past I have made them out of flowerpaste (gumpaste) and made them from paper.
I have to be very cautious about choosing stamp sets out of the catalog ~ my eyes are always drawn to the flower sets to the exclusion of others, great for me but not everyone has the same passion as me! The other day I found out just how cautious I had been, when I wanted to create a card with some flowers on it – I could not find a stamp set on my shelf with a flower in it!!! Continue reading
Paper Pumpkin – Stampin’ Up!
I have subscribed to Paper Pumpkin since it first started just over 3 years ago. It is a monthly subscription and the whole point of it is that each month we get a SURPRISE! We don’t know ahead of time what will be in the box, we have had cards, calendars, banners, frame art, treat holders – practically anything you can do with paper and ink has been made into a kit. Yep – a kit, everything you need is contained within that orange box that lands in my mailbox around the 18th or 19th of each month. Continue reading
Colorful Seasons and Tranquil Tide
The 5th and final of the new 2017 – 2019 In-colors is Tranquil Tide, the name itself sounds calming and relaxing. It is a very deep ‘blue’ based green which I think will make a very interesting Christmas green – one I shall try out a little nearer the time!. Once again, I have paired it with Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla but as I write this I am thinking Sahara Sand would also make a great combination. Continue reading
Decorated Sticky Notes ~ video
Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper was launched in the 2017 – 2018 Stampin’ Up! annual catalog, it has all of the new In-colors,8 sheets of each of the 5 colors – that is 40 sheets of 12 x 12 paper to play with!
At the beginning of June I held my new catalog launch where I invite all my customers to come ooohhh and aaahhh over the new products, do some make and takes (using new products) and get their own copy of the new catalog. As a thank you to them for shopping with me throughout the year and for coming to the launch I gave each of them a decorated pad of sticky notes (plus a pen) so they could mark all their favorites ready to add to their wish lists!

Colorful Seasons with Fresh Fig
The 4th of the new 2017 – 2019 In-colors is Fresh Fig, a rich and mellow jewel tone color. While it works very well with neutrals I was surprised to find that it was the perfect foil for brighter colors such as Crushed Curry… who would have thought it! Continue reading
Coffee Cafe ~ a Cuppa Joe Anyone?
Those of you who know me will know that I do not drink coffee ~ I like tea and hot tea not iced tea 🙂 Having said that the Coffee Cafe Bundle is next on my wish list!
The Coffee Cafe Stamp Set has the coordinating, Coffee Cups Framelits Dies which makes cutting the shapes and creating the cutest of cards, gift card holders a snap. Let me share Stampin’ Up’s video introducing this new bundle. Continue reading
Colorful Seasons with Berry Burst
This is the third of the 5 new In-Colors launched on June 1st ~ Berry Burst is a really vibrant magenta color that I paired with Smoky Slate, which allow the Berry Burst to ‘burst’ out as a focal color.
All the cards I am sharing that introduce the new 2017 – 2018 In-colors, have been made using the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set which literally has Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter images with a selection of greetings in a lovely font. Better yet – it has a coordinating Thinlets Die set (if you buy the bundle – you get 10% discount!) Continue reading
