I have made no secret that Shabby Chic / Vintage style project have become a particular favorite of mine, the Ranunculus Romance Stamp Set along with the Dainty Flowers decorative paper are a great starting place for this style. We have a 14 year old grand-daughter – it is an age where I find it difficult to hit the right spot between a childhood theme and one for an adult!! Not surprisingly (for me) I chose to do something floral but bright and cheerful for a young woman. It also has a very quick and easy fun fold for which I made a video ….. just to show you how quick and easy it is!!

They were created ‘on the hoof’ during a recent You Tube Live I did – I literally did not know how my card was going to turn out when I started but I sure was thrilled at then end by the result!

I have used a mixture of products from the new 2023 Jan – April Mini Catalog and the Annual Catalog. I think sometimes I get so caught up in the new goodies that I can overlook the ones already in my stash. So Tea Boutique decorative paper and Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set are from the Annual Catalog and the Petal Park Bundle is from the new mini!

With all the Christmas goodies I had, I kinda ran out of time to share this particular bundle before the end of 2022. Today I have used it to showcase 2 watercolor techniques on a fancy easel fold!

Fun folds are one of my favorite types of card to make, I love the challenge and the sense of satisfaction when it is complete, often times the most complex looking of cards are a lot more straightforward to do than they look and that is the beauty of them!
