Continue readingShaker Cards are such a lot of fun, especially for children but I am sure an adult would enjoy one as well! It was our youngest granddaughters birthday last week so I thought a fun card would be just perfect, particularly as she will not be having a party with friends and extended family this year.
We later found out that she wanted an ‘elephant’ cake for her birthday – which her talented parents made for her – so the Birthday Bonanza DSP, with the cute animals, I used for her card turned out to be in the right theme!
Merry Merlot and Balmy Blue are not two colors I would have naturally put together, until I remembered there is a UK soccer (football) team whose colors are claret and blue !
I used the Tasteful Textures Stamp Set for my card today along with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder to add even more texture. ~ just love texture on my cards. This is a stamp set I have used quite a bit and I have put some links to those cards a little further down this post.
