Merry Merlot and Balmy Blue are not two colors I would have naturally put together, until I remembered there is a UK soccer (football) team whose colors are claret and blue !
I used the Tasteful Textures Stamp Set for my card today along with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder to add even more texture. ~ just love texture on my cards. This is a stamp set I have used quite a bit and I have put some links to those cards a little further down this post.
Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Merry Merlot
Layer 1: 2 x 5 1/2 Balmy Blue Card
Layer 2: 3 1/8 x 2 3/8 Granite Grey Card
Layer 3: 3 x 2 1/2 Whisper White Card
Ink Colors: Merry Merlot and Balmy Blue

I stamped the Balmy Blue layer ‘tone on tone’ first then run it thru the big shot with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. I have a video on this technique – click here to see that.
The greeting is from the A Big Thank You Stamp Set, but if you change out the greeting it would make a great birthday card.
