Today I broke out my Basic Patterns Decorative Masks and Blending Brushes to create a piece of decorative card as a background. I chose the Polka Dot mask with Fresh Freesia ink which I added fairly lightly to keep it delicate.
Once again I am thrilled to be taking part in the Ink . Stamp . Share blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators from around the globe here to bring you inspiration through creativity!
You will have either arrived from Laura’s post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . We do not have a theme, but each of the talented artisans showcase what they are working on at this time each month. There will be techniques, fancy folds, 3D, new products and ideas – a veritable treasure chest for you to draw on every month.
As a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator I get to see new catalogs and order new products ahead of their issue date, so when I saw the Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set on page 49 of the 2021 Annual Catalog it went on my wish list immediately, I just loved the graceful stems of bamboo and the simplicity of the leaves, plus it has 5 different greetings in the prettiest of fonts.
Today I have just used the leaves and one of the greetings in this simple card, which could be sent as a get well card or maybe for Sympathy or to someone who just needs to know you are thinking of them!
Last month I posted my first two videos introducing Stampin’ Blends, as I explained at that time, Stampin Blends are alcohol markers and have been available for a few years now. Although I have some of them I have not really explored them very much. When one of my lovely customers asked me a question on them I was unable to give her a good answer and made the decision I was going to teach myself how to use them!
Rather than practice in private – I decided I was going to practice on video, starting with the basics and developing my skills in front of you, my sweet readers! So the third in the series introduces the Alcohol Blending Technique – enjoy!
Today’s card certainly has a pop of color combining Poppy Parade with Just Jade and the Painted Poppies Stamp Set.
I wasn’t really sure what sort of greeting to put on this card so decided to use ‘Just for You’ from the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, I love that I could use this card for just about any occasion.
Tomorrow the USA celebrates its 245th birthday, so today’s card it to wish all US citizens a Happy and Peaceful 4th.
My card is chock full of stars using the Stitched Stars Dies. I must admit that I had only really thought of this die set for Christmas but it is just perfect for my theme.
I cannot believe we are half way thru 2021 – I am glad to say that this year has gone a lot better than 2020 as things are opening up and I am able to spend time with friends again.
In the early part of last December I had a class to create a flip over calendar, everyone loved it and made me promise we will do another later in this new year! I thought I might start each month this year by posting the page for that month, so today I share, July which just has lots of celebratory stars in traditional red, white and blue.
A couple of weeks ago I posted my first video introducing Stampin’ Blends, as I explained at that time, Stampin Blends are alcohol markers and have been available for a few years now. Although I have some of them I have not really explored them very much. When one of my lovely customers asked me a question on them I was unable to give her a good answer and made the decision I was going to teach myself how to use them!
Rather than practice in private – I decided I was going to practice on video, starting with the basics and developing my skills in front of you, my wonderful readers! So this is the second is a series I am planning over the coming weeks – enjoy!
I have made no secret that the Elegantly Said Stamp Set is probably one of my favorite sets from the 2021 -2022 Stampin’ UP! annual catalog, not least because it has the coordinating Elegant Tag punch and for those of you who follow me, know that I do love a punch!
I have paired one of the 2020 -2022 Incolors, Misty Moonlight, with one of the 2021 – 2023 Incolors, Fresh Freesia’ I was musing on my color combination for today’s card they sort of ‘spoke’ to me, so I gave them a try and am really pleased with the result.
Last week I shared some hints and tips on using the wonderful Pansy Patch Stamp Set and coordinating Pansy Dies. During that video I did a little stamping and some assembly of the die cuts and promised to share a card using those two elements. Well today is the day – I have a cute fun fold card to stage those pieces.
