Welcome to my Corner of the World
Receiving a card in the post is wonderful, receiving one with moving parts is even BETTER! The Give it a Whirl Die Set is a great way of creating an interactive card for children and adults alike!
Today’s post has a video where I share hints and tips for using the dies successfully, I have created quite a simple birthday card, but you can use whatever you have in your stash to create as fancy a card as you want ~ I have included a few other samples after the video – so please go check them out.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pale Papaya IN-color Designer Series Paper Assortment
- Layer 2: 4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ for the rotating piece
- Ink Color: Soft Suede and Pale Papaya
I chose to use the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set with the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch in today’s card with a pretty, feminine birthday card, along with a soft bow using the 3/8 Open Weave Ribbon and 2021 -2023 In-color Jewels to finish off my flower centers.
Now kick back and enjoy the video……………………………….
