Continue readingIt is about a month since the new Holiday Catalog was released and I have spent some very happy hours using some of the new products Stampin’ Up! has introduced. I am planning to share some of my projects with you over the coming weeks. So here is the first of many (hopefully 🙂 )
I cannot believe it is all over….. Inspire, Create, Share, was a wonderful experience, I learnt and saw a lot of great ideas and techniques. I spent the time on the flight home working out how I was going to find the time to share everything with my ladies……………………….. Continue reading
March 31st is the last day that the 25 years ‘Best of’ stamp sets will be available. These are a collection of special stamps that featured favorite images from the last 25 years of Stampin’ Up. They are a great deal at $14.95 a set, each containing at least 4 stamps, some images and some sentiments. Continue reading
This time of year we are wrapping gifts in preparation for the Big Day. I gave up wrapping in paper several years ago…. the shapes were too weird to wrap neatly or the parcels looked too lumpy and unappetising!. I started to use gift bags and tissue paper, a much quicker and easier (and neater!) solution.
Gift bags and tissue can be expensive so I buy plain bags from the craft stores and plain tissue from the dollar store ( 40 sheets for $1) Then I get out my inks and stamp sets and decorate to my hearts’ content.
I have a number of hostess gifts this year so this is the bag/tissue combination I have been working on today…..
The stamp set is Joyful Christmas and I used Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Crushed Curry inks. Now I have some lovely, elegant gifts to take with me.
I hope this gives you an idea for your future gift wrapping……..
Happy Stamping ~ Cindy 🙂
PS I just realised this is my 50th post…….. lets celebrate with your ‘liking’ it and while you are doing that……. just go ahead and ‘follow’ my blog…. then you know when I get to my 100th post!!! 🙂

I went to an inspiration night last week and I have to say I was well and truly inspired by the projects we made.
This one used the Joyful Christmas Stamp Set. Heat embossed in silver on Shimmery White cardstock. We then spritzed it with water before using an Aqua Painter with Coastal Cabana and Island Indigo ink to flood in the color. After it was dry (which only took a few minutes) it was out with the scissors to ‘fussy-cut” the flower before adhering to Coastal Cabana cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The center was finished off with a bunch of rhinestones to add some extra bling!
Had some of these little calendars kicking around my workbench, so decided to pull together some ink, paper and ribbon to create a little fridge magnet calendar. The base is made of chipboard cut 4×4, a little DSP added with some ribbon in a complementary colour. Flowers were stamped on Whisper White card stock using the Flower Shop Stamp set and punch (available as a bundle) few pieces of magnetic strip hot glued to the back and we have a cute stocking stuffer, hostess / teacher appreciation gift ready for the holiday season.
You can order this bundle directly from my website – just click the picture above. This week’s Hostess Code for week ending Sunday is KWH4TKW3 and you could win all the hostess $$$$$’s that accumulate during the week! One winner will be named at random

Last weekend was the 3rd Christmas/ Holiday Card Stamp Camp for this year. We made 3 of each of these cards:
Contemporary ‘flip/flop’ card in Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay with silver ribbon and glimmer paper. The middle card in classic red and green, showcased the new ‘ Expressions Framelits’ and ‘Silver Foil’ card stock. The final card in Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive ~ traditional colors with a contemporary design.
And here is the some of the band of happy stampers:
Here is a video on how to use the fantastic Expression thinlits:

September’s Stamp Camp had three new designs. The first in traditional colours with a contemporary design (thank you Connie Stewart for the inspiration!) The second card featured a glitter encrusted tree in delicious Midnight Muse and Soft Sky card and finally the mellow greens of Always Artichoke and Pear Pizzazz with a silver embossed ornament just popping off the card.
October’s Camp brings three more designs, two are complete – the third is still on the drawing board. October’s camp is on the 18th and 19th ~ you choose the date that works for you – call me for more details and to reserve your place.
