Stampin’ Up!’s Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlets Die

It is about a month since the new Holiday Catalog was released and I have spent some very happy hours using some of the new products Stampin’ Up! has introduced.  I am planning to share some of my projects with you over the coming weeks.  So here is the first of many (hopefully 🙂 )

I have chosen to share these cute holiday treat boxes, made using the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlets die, one for each of the upcoming holidays. They were made from an idea by Karen Woodard.  I love to make 3D items… they are a challenge but so very much worth the effort.

The ‘Pumpkin’ used Pumpkin Pie card stock and the ‘ghost’ used the Owl Punch (upside down with the feet trimmed off)

The Thanksgiving Turkey uses Soft Suede and the tail uses one of the leaves from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die which I have sponged with Soft Suede ink. The hat is made with the 1″ square punch and the Word Window punch.

The snowman was made in Whisper White, with Basic Black card to make the little hat, eyes and buttons. The hat is made with the Curly Label Punch and Modern Label Punch.

The die can  be found on page 11 of Stampin’Up!’s 2014 Holiday Catalog, these boxes are so versatile,in addition to treats they could be used to make unique gift boxes which can be personalised in color and embellishments for those special people in your life.  Favors for Baby or Wedding Showers, how cute would a box embellished as a baby or a Bride and Groom?  (hummmm – now I have to go get that die out again and see what I can do with those ideas!)

My Project 4-001Take care and Happy Stamping 🙂

If you’d like any of the supplies, to shop, or to get a catalog, please feel free to contact me, and if you’re thinking of joining Stampin’ Up! and my team I’d most definitely like to hear from you.
