Multi-layered Cards ~ Eastern Palace & Delightful Daisy

Last week I shared some cards I had made from  scraps of Designer Series Paper, I rarely throw away my off-cuts and after I had seen some cards made by  Pootles, a UK demonstrator, I was so glad I had not.  She had taken some Designer Series Paper and cut it up to create a number of very pretty layered cards.  The idea appealed to me very much – but instead of cutting up my DSP I used the scraps that were left over from previous projects. As a result I made about 2 dozen cards in total and although they followed the same formula every single one is different.

I set myself a couple of rules, the layering pieces of card must be the same color as the card base and each card needed to have 3 pieces of DSP.

Delightful Daisy Floating Image Card

One of my Yorkie’s is called Daisy – it is such a lovely light and fresh name, and because she is a Southern Belle she is formally known as ‘Miss Daisy’.  If she had not have been Daisy she would have been Poppy, again because it is a bright and happy name ~ and I just love flowers!

When the Delightful Daisy Suite became available as a pre-order for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators it was at the top of my list particularly the Designer Series Paper which I am featuring today, along with the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set and a brief appearance by one of my favorite sets ‘ One Big Meaning’ Continue reading
