Celebrate Sunflowers ~ Patch Card #3

Welcome back to my corner of the world

This card started with a piece of Purple Posy card, which was sitting next to my  paper trimmer, I ran it thru my cut and embossing machine with one of the Greenery Embossing Folders which is one of the new folders in the 2020 – 2021 Annual Catalog. All the decorative parts are attached to this patch then attached to the base card with 4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals.

So who says sunflowers have to be yellow? Misty Moonlight turned out to be a perfect combination with Purple Posy and Seaside Spray.

Double Embossing Technique with Parisian Blossoms Suite ~ Video Tutorial

Welcome back to my corner of the world

I think today’s card would work for just about any occasion so I did not put any greeting on it at all.  To be honest I don’t think it needed it – there is such a lot going on a greeting would have been just too much!

I am featuring a double embossed technique – starting with an embossing folder – sometimes known as ‘dry embossing’ then followed up with heat embossing where embossing powder is melted onto your card using a heat gun!  I am waving a fond farewell to a several products that are retiring at the end of May (available while stocks last) Copper Embossing PowderParisian Beauty Bundle, 1 5/8 Scalloped Circle, 1 1/8 Scalloped Circle and 1″ Circle Punches.

Introducing Mango Melody and Lovely Floral Embossing Folder

Oh my gosh…………… it is very nearly 3 weeks since the 2018 – 2019 Annual Stampin’ UP! catalog went live!!!

I have shared a number of projects using some of the new products in the catalog – and today is going to be no different.

As you may know, being a demonstrator allows me to have early access to some of the products and one of those was the delicious Share What You Love suite – which included a brand new embossing folder, Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder –  mouthful to say, I know, but oh so very pretty.

I have paired this with the Love What You Do stamp set and one of the new core colors, Mango Melody. Continue reading

Daisy Delight – Birthday

Another favorite Stamp Set is Daisy Delight and usually I grab that beautiful big daisy when I open the stamp box but if you look closer there are some really pretty, little delicate flowers that I used to build up this card for my younger sister.

I chose Peekaboo Peach because it is about to retire and it is another of those colors I think are bright a summery!

I’m back………………..

Tax season is over, I’m back at my work bench and normal service is about to resume!!!!!

I apologize for not posting very much in the last 5 – 6 weeks, been very busy helping the nation file their taxes ( did not actually get ours filed until late on the night of the 14th ~ bit too close for my liking, prefer to get them done by mid-March!)

But while  I have not had time to post I have had some time to make and have some things to share with you over the coming days………………
