Daisy Delight – Birthday

Another favorite Stamp Set is Daisy Delight and usually I grab that beautiful big daisy when I open the stamp box but if you look closer there are some really pretty, little delicate flowers that I used to build up this card for my younger sister.

I chose Peekaboo Peach because it is about to retire and it is another of those colors I think are bright a summery!

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Peekaboo Peach Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White Card run thru the Big Shot with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder

Layer 2: 4 1/8 x 3 Old Olive Card

Layer 3: 4 x 2 7/8 Whisper White Card

Ink Colors: Peekaboo Peach and Old Olive

Daisy Delight gives an opportunity for 2 – step stamping and as it is a photopolymer set it so very easy to line up the shapes. The flowers were created by stamping the outline first in full-strength Peekaboo Peach  ink then the ‘filler’ stamp used the same color but ‘ stamped off’ on a scrap of paper first which gives a lighter shade.

Look out for my video on tying the double bow!
