When I received the July – December 2022 Mini Catalog, I was so excited to see the new Embossing Additions Tool Kit. I love to do heat embossing and have shared lots of projects in the past, so this lovely kit was on my list immediately!
To introduce the new kit I chose to share the Heat Resist Embossing Technique with the Pretty Medallion Stamp and paired with the Deckle Rectangle Dies. Check out the video below.
Continue readingI have made no secret that the Elegantly Said Stamp Set is probably one of my favorite sets from the 2021 -2022 Stampin’ UP! annual catalog, not least because it has the coordinating Elegant Tag punch and for those of you who follow me, know that I do love a punch!
I have paired one of the 2020 -2022 Incolors, Misty Moonlight, with one of the 2021 – 2023 Incolors, Fresh Freesia’ I was musing on my color combination for today’s card they sort of ‘spoke’ to me, so I gave them a try and am really pleased with the result.
Continue readingToday’s inspirational card shares a couple of techniques and introduces the new Blending Brushes from Stampin’ UP!. I chose to use the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set which has a great selection of plant type images as well as some useful greetings.
This card has two great and easy stamping techniques – tone-on-tone stampin’ and emboss resist, I have made a video to show how to combine them in one card!
Continue readingI am sure I have said in past – but it is always worth repeating….. I LOVE heat embossing. The magic of that powder melting down and creating a fantastic background or focal point on the card – such a WOW factor, and to be honest almost a right of passage for any card-crafter.
I use this technique in a lot of my classes – in fact in my August Christmas/Holiday Card Stamp Camp on August 18th & 19th one of the cards will feature heat embossing. Check out on the calendar tab above for more details
