This is the second time I have joined in this challenge and the theme is Spring! I just love it when the trees start to pop their leaves and just before that their blossom. Today’s card was inspired by some decorative paper I found in a card crafting magazine I found in a drawer, it is full of blossom, the epitome of spring!!
Heat embossing is a favorite technique of mine and the Artful Amaryllis Stamp set has stamps that really worked well allowing me to add a heat embossed outline to my flower. I used it to create today’s offset gatefold card with and inspirational message.
Continue readingWe paper crafters inevitably find ourselves left with scraps after working on a project, some are a bit too small to keep but others are large enough to be ‘useful’ sometime in the future……….. well we all know they can pile up, so today I have a card that uses up some of the scraps of Countryside Inn decorative paper over from a project I did earlier in the year.
Continue readingWell this one got away from me – Notes of Nature Stamp Set and Dies retired just a few days ago and I had this card all ready to share with you, but I am going to do so anyway because if you have this set in your stash it will work for you alternatively another set will work equally as well – it is really all about the fold!!!!
Continue readingNow you may be wondering why I have not shared any new products from the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalog in the last couple of weeks. Well the truth of the matter is my husband and I have been out of the country on an extended 11 week trip to the UK, we are due to return this very day and probably in the air back to DFW as you read this. My goodies are waiting for me at the house ready for me to dig in and explore them when I get back into the time zone!!
In the meantime I am sharing the card I made for my sister, we were able to celebrate her birthday with her yesterday, a bonus for me:-)

I chose to use the Easter Bunny Stamp set with coordinating punch and the Rain or Shine Decorative Paper for this simple gatefold card and have a video to show how it comes together and how I used my Stamparatus for the reflection technique!

Continue readingI was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!
As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.
