I was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!

As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Coastal Cabana Card ~ scored @ 2 1/8 and 6 3/8
• Layer 1: 2 pieces 5 3/8 x 2 Real Red Card ~ run thru the Cut and Emboss Machine with the Gingham Embossing Folder
• Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White Card ~ for inside card
• Ink Color: Real Red and Coastal Cabana

The Gingham Embossing Folder is one of the new ones from the Jan – June 2022 Mini Catalog – I love embossing folders, they turn a plain piece of card into something spectacular at the turn of a handle! They are usually at the top of my wish list (along with punches and ribbon) when a new catalog is launched.

The greeting is from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and the dots are from the Art in Bloom Stamp Set. Once stamped I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I twist of Pool Party Gingham Ribbon and a Red Rhinestone to finish.
