This is such a very easy fold to do – by simply cutting the front slightly shorter than the back it allowed me to use the vertical ‘Happy Birthday’ from the Celebrate with Flowers Stamp Set, so it would be visible with the card closed. I have paired Granny Apple Green with Poppy Parade ~ a very bright and fresh combination.

Continue readingToday’s color combination was inspired by the Garden Impressions Cardstock Pack – where you get 8 sheets of 3 different colors – So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral and coordinates with the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper. It is not a combination that would have come to mind but Stampin’ UP! does all the hard work and makes me look good.
I chose to go with the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set – which allows me to build up my flowers and has some really cute greetings, it also has a coordinating Springtime Impressions Thinlet Dies which I used to emboss one of my layers.
