This week’s challenge was to feature an ‘Animal/Creature – so in other words a ‘critter’ I chose this as a chance to share another very simple coloring technique – using a Blender Pen, that along with just some stamps, ink and paper (#SIP) it is a card that your could produce from any supplies you might have in your stash. Continue readingFor the last 5 – 6 years I have designed and enjoyed making my flip over desk calendar for the ladies who came to my classes. As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. Like last year, I recognize not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month and included a video to show how I went about making the card.

The more I thought about it the more I was tempted to make a masculine themed card (which I am not so good at!) and as Father’s Day is just around the corner I figured that would be the way to go!
Continue readingI used a number of different simple techniques on todays card, some stamping, some stenciling and some punch art. I kinda wanted to work with neutral shades rather than bringing in colour. Although I have used a ‘thinking of you’ sort of greeting I think this design / layout would work for any occasion if you change up the greeting and you could bring in other colours as well. 🙂
