Welcome to my Corner of the World
So the challenge this time is Halloween! I kinda trawled around to find some ideas and decided to try to use this as an opportunity for another embossing folder technique ~ this time embossing vellum, which can be a bit tricky until you know how …………….. and then it is ‘slap your forehead’ easy!!! Check out the video for some hints and tips.
- Base Card: 11 3/4 x 4 1/8 Pumpkin Pie Card ~ scored @ 5 3/4
- Layer 1: 1/4 sheet of Vellum ~ run thru embossing machine with Cobwebs Embossing Folder
- Inside Layer : 5 1/2 x 3 7/8 White Card
- Scraps: Black Card
- Ink Color: Smoky Slate
Check out the video to see how everything goes together:
To create the circular frames I used:
1 1/2 & 1 3/4 for the small one with the pumpkin
2 & 2 1/4 for the medium one with the witch’s hat wearing pumpkin!
2 1/4 & 2 1/2 for the large one with the ‘trick & treaters”

Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂 I love to make use of all the supplies I’ve collected, regardless of age! I apologize if it gets frustrating when some are retired, but I have found that many of these, or very similiar items, can be acquired on the used market. I’ve tried to give the info I have on each product so you can go looking if you like…happy hunting!
