Product Spotlight – He’s The Man Suite

I struggle with making card for the fellas in my life – do you have the same problem? In the current annual catalog is a suite of products that can help solve this – the He’s The Man Suite is all about ‘guy type’ things, images, colors and interests – from Bar B Que’ing to Camping to Cars. So today I am focusing on that suite with help from Stampin’ UP! and a couple of my own creations!

Biggest Wish Super Simple Guy Card

I am really taken with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set ~ I love that I can create nice, big greetings for my cards, this is especially true for today’s card as I made it for my nephew so that is not ‘over the top’ as he is not into fancy!

I chose to use some decorative paper with checks and pull the checks thru the card by using one of the new embossing folders. This is a very quick and simple card to make you could use the same sketch, changing out the decorative paper and card colors to create a card for any occasion.

Sassy Salutations #1

Sassy Salutations has 6 different greetings in a really zany font, I used it on a card I shared a few weeks ago.  This stamp set has been available for a few years and although it was on my wish list it never made it into my shopping basket!  Once it did end up in my shopping basket I played around with it and made a card for each of the greetings.
