July 14th ~ almost half-way thru the month….. already!!!!!!!!!!! Truthfully I really don’t know where the time goes – it is oh so very hot here in North Texas at the moment, day after day of over 100 F degree days, although it is good for ripening the fruit in the garden (see below)
Today’s card has nice cool colors and is one for the fellas in our lives.

I have said on many occasions that I struggle with cards for the fellas in my life…….. so imagine my delight when Stampin’ UP! introduced a new kit at our recent demonstrator get together called OnStage! Continue readingI am really taken with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set ~ I love that I can create nice, big greetings for my cards, this is especially true for today’s card as I made it for my nephew so that is not ‘over the top’ as he is not into fancy!
I chose to use some decorative paper with checks and pull the checks thru the card by using one of the new embossing folders. This is a very quick and simple card to make you could use the same sketch, changing out the decorative paper and card colors to create a card for any occasion.
