I love the greeting on this card ~ it would be perfect for someone starting a new job, a wedding card, retirement, starting a family or maybe someone starting on a mission!

The Everyday Details Stamp Set has 3 very different images and 3 great greetings, as well as my favorite ‘dotty’ stamp (you need to watch some of my videos to learn a bit more about me and ‘dotty’ stamps!!) I also broke out a couple of my Stampin’ Blends to do a little coloring.

How to Use Up Those Scraps!!

We get scraps…… all the time, paper crafters, quilters etc get scraps left over. If it plain card I have no problem putting it in the rubbish bin, but decorative paper, I just can’t do it! I made this card a few months ago using one of the Saleabration Stamp Sets, A Touch of Ink. While it is no longer available I thought I would still share it as I really like the layout which would lend itself to a stamp set you might have in your stash.

Soft Suede is a great neutral base color and can be paired with almost any of the colors in the Stampin’ UP! family, I added a strip of Scalloped Lace Trim to boost up the femininity but if you change out the Rococo Rose card for a more masculine color and drop the lace it would make a great guy card as well.

When the Stampin’ UP! Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog came out in December there was a new product – Gilded Leafing Embellishment, a beautiful pot containing delicate and wispy pieces of a gold colored foil – which was bright and sparkly and I just love bright and sparkly!

I am working on a series of posts and videos sharing various designs and techniques for using this wonderful product – today shows a piece of gilded card which has been dry embossed …… stunning!
